Training Sessions

Queens Invitational Training Sessions:

The DECA execs want to hold a few training sessions to get members prepared for competitions. These training sessions will be open for ALL members, but those of you who are going to Queens are highly recommended to attend. The training sessions will cover business etiquette, go through the differences between business simulation and case study and will provide you with a real example of a case. These training sessions will be a great way, for those of you who are new to DECA, to get an idea of what a case looks like and how DECA competitions are.

 

Just a reminder that we have training sessions coming up this week, and they are the following:

1) How to Write a Case. This session will go through the proper way of tackling a case, as
well as proper DECA etiquette. (you only need to attend one)

Tue Nov 8th 8PM to 9:30PM in Arts 1E1

2) Business Concepts. This session will go through BU111/121 as well as 3rd year concepts relating to marketing and OB/HR. (you only need to attend one)
Wed Nov 9th 7PM to 9:0PM in DAWB 2-106

3) Role Play Cases. This will be your chance to try what you  learned at
the last 2 session! We will be simulating real DECA case scenarios and
